Mental health: everyday habits that support wellbeing

Mental health is part of everyday life. Caring for it does not mean feeling good all the time or handling every difficulty without support.

General health information. It does not replace professional assessment.

Start with manageable habits

Make time to rest, move in ways you enjoy and stay connected with people you trust. Choose a small change you can maintain. Self-care does not need to become another demanding checklist.

Notice how routines affect you

Recognize activities that help and those that overwhelm you. You can make notes about how you feel to prepare for a conversation, without treating that record as a diagnosis. Wellbeing habits do not replace treatment when it is needed.

Ask for support

If distress persists or makes daily activities difficult, speak with a professional. Asking for help opens a conversation about what is happening and which options fit your situation.
